Puck Speed
Puck Speed Privacy Policy
Puck Speed is designed to measure hockey puck speed while keeping app data on the user's device.
Information We Collect
For normal use, Puck Speed does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or other personal information. Shot videos, measurement history, and diagnostics remain on your device.
We do not sell personal information and do not use third-party advertising.
Camera Use
Puck Speed uses your device's camera to detect hockey shots and calculate puck speed.
Camera footage is processed by the app for this purpose. Puck Speed does not upload camera footage, photos, or videos to our servers.
Shot History and Video Clips
Puck Speed may save a limited number of short video clips and shot results on your device, including recent shots and top-speed shots.
These files and results are stored locally on your device and are controlled by you.
Deleting Puck Speed, clearing its data, or losing access to your device may permanently delete locally stored shot history and video clips. Puck Speed does not currently provide cloud backup or synchronization of this information.
Diagnostics
Puck Speed may generate diagnostic information on your device to help explain a shot measurement or improve reliability.
In the current Release build, diagnostic information remains on your device. It is not sent to Normal Man Labs or any third party by the app.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions and purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit services.
Puck Speed does not directly receive or store your payment card information, and does not transmit payment information to its own servers.
Apple may process information related to your purchase according to Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
Data Sharing
Puck Speed does not sell or rent user information.
Information is not shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.
The current Release build does not include third-party SDKs, analytics, crash-reporting services, advertising, tracking, backend requests, or cloud synchronization.
Data Retention and Deletion
Shot history and video clips stored locally in Puck Speed remain on your device until they are deleted by you, removed by the app according to its storage limits, or removed when the application or its data is deleted.
Diagnostics stored locally in Puck Speed remain on your device until they are deleted by you or removed when the application or its data is deleted.
If you contact support by email, information you choose to send may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to you or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of information you have voluntarily submitted by contacting us through the support information below.
Children's Privacy
Puck Speed does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because Puck Speed does not require an account and normally stores shot information locally on the device, we do not intentionally maintain profiles of children or other users.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information that is voluntarily submitted to us. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Puck Speed changes.
If Puck Speed later adds features such as cloud storage, user accounts, analytics, or additional data collection, this policy will be updated accordingly.
The current version of the Privacy Policy will remain available on the Puck Speed website.
